Julio made a guest appearance on TGG as Sophia's date for the evening in Season Four's episode 'Valentine's Day'. When Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose feel upset about having no dates for the evening, they make dinner reservations for four, not believing Sophia when she tells them Julio is her date for the evening. When the Trio gets ready to walk out the door, their dates for the evening surprise them and they go off with the men for the evening. Julio then enters the kitchen through the 'back door' and Sophia gets him to sing to her.
