Angela, Sophia's sister, who lives in Sicily but moved back to the USA, is similiar to Sophia. She is short, feisty, and gives good advice. And she always butts heads with her sister when she visits but they always make up in the end. Aunt Angela's character is played by 'Rhoda' and 'The Mary Tyler Moore Show's Nancy Walker, who played Rhoda Morgenstern's mother.
